Hope this finds you well.
First off I just want to say; there’re so many opportunities out here.! I never thought of the different avenues of work I could go down. That’s mainly because I’m the type that starts something and fails to see a way out of it, even if I don’t like it. That has changed. For the past couple of days I’ve been looking for different work opportunities. I had no idea that there were so many things you could get paid for!
Currently what I’m looking for I have not found. I was looking for something that pays right away, that you can also do online. Sad to say I have not found it. But through this process of researching different career paths, I’ve found many other things I could do that would pay handsomely. This is what has me excited about trying something NEW.
Something else I’ve realized is, I love to procrastinate. I think it’s all the dopamine you receive when completing or accomplishing so much in a short amount of time. This is definitely something I need to change. If I continue to do things at the last minute I’ll never build up the will to do things I’m passionate about. I’ll be putting of things that matter to me all because I adapted the saying, “I’ll do it tomorrow”. Something so many of us say or think. I started to think; “What if tomorrow never comes?”
That said; Are you living life as you would want too truly?…. Or are you living way below your potential because you’re afraid of rejection? I’m gonna tell you right now; I’ve been living way below my potential my whole life. Ask me why; I’m sure I could give you plenty of excuses. But the main reason is FEAR. I’m not saying I’ve overcome it. I’m working through it. Something I believe a lot of people feel. It’s as if we’re living a life that isn’t ours authentically. We experience this feeling every time we open our eyes and interact with others. Many times the people you converse with have no idea that you’re going through the motions because they themselves are going through the same thing.
It’s widely know most people hate their job. This is many times were you have to be around people you wouldn’t typically choose to be around (All of us think it. I’m just gonna be the one to say it). Many times you would choose not to be around that person or people because you may be like myself a very shy introverted individual . Or you may have a strong personality and you know you have to hide a great bit of yourself because it’s hard for a lot of other people to swallow. Having this type of personality could unknowingly attract the wrong attention.
Truth be told many of us can not hold in who we really are for too long. Some way or another it always has a way of peeking out. Also, I never want anyone to have to hide who they are for the sake of being palatable for the masses. You should always feel comfortable in your own skin. For lack of a better word, I’m just gonna say; “Forget what anyone else thinks of you!” What’s important is what you think and how you feel about yourself.
