I’m not sure where you’re reading this from, but wherever it is, I hope it’s a place you want to be.

Throughout life we are faced with things we have to do and want to do. If there was anything good I could wish for you it would be; “What you have to do is exactly what you want to do.”

I guess I’m feeling this extra strong now because my days have been full for the past 7 months. The one thing I’ve missed during this time is my time to B.S. Can’t do that anymore. The other thing is, I’ve come to the realization we are not all going to live forever. Meaning: my elders are not always going to be there when I need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on. Honestly this is definitely a downer. The good thing is I can have fun figuring out what’s my vice; other than writing.

Something else that gets me through the day is constantly having that kid mentality. Meaning: Everyday is another possibility to do something great. No matter how crazy the idea is to someone else doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go through with it. To me it means you MUST go through with it, to let others know; “It’s possible.” Who said you had to adhere to the monotony of most people’s current reality. Dream big and dream often. That’s how you keep your spirit alive. The other thing that comes with dreaming is acting on those dreams. Making those things come true will be a battle, but all great things are.
