Experiences, Feelings

Back to the drawing board

Good Morning!!!!

There’s always something in life that is going to through you off from your routine. For me that was Spring Break. Even though I didn’t do much, I still did a lot. It’s crazy that when you’re not doing anything you feel guilty for not doing anything. The guilt was something I had to let go of.

It’s almost like even though things are going good your mind finds a way to mess that up for you; well my mind anyway. Even though there was really nothing to worry about I found myself worrying. You know those intrusive thoughts that make you feel like you need to be at peoples beck and call in order for them to like you?…. Or the thoughts that tell you you’re a bad person because you choose to spend your time doing exactly what feels right to you, and not what other people think you should be doing with your time.

The truth is it doesn’t matter what other people think you should be doing. They’re not the ones who’re living your life. You have to do what’s right for you. Even though it’s rough following the road less traveled that might be the best one for you. What you have to remember is that everyone has their own life to live and we are all different. So what might be right for you might be completely wrong for the next person.

Bottomline, trust your gut. Everything will work out in the end.
