Passion-Africa here we come!

“Now you wanna have some type of control over somebody!… I gave you the chance to lead. You didn’t want to. So now I’ve learned the strength is in leading myself; since I can’t trust you to do it!”

“That’s unfair!… When we got married we both were in our early twenties. I didn’t know anything about being the head of any ones household. I was learning and so were you.”

“I understand that and I knew that at the time. But when you said you wanted to entertain other women, it broke my heart! You don’t understand I would have done anything for you! But once you crossed that lined, the game completely changed.”

“If you didn’t want to go through with it, we didn’t have to.” This was the first time Kevall had taken the time to really listen to what his wife wanted; partly because he was afraid of loosing her. He knew this polyamory thing was going to come and bite him right in the ass one day. He just hoped this wouldn’t be the day.

“You say that now. But how many times had I told you I wanted you and only you, and that I didn’t need nor wanted anyone else?”

“A lot.”

That was me saying, ‘I don’t want to go through with this polyamory thing’.”

“Why didn’t you just come out and plainly say it?!”

“Hold up! Don’t get mad at me because you wanted to soil your royal oats. All of this I your fault.

Do you ever wake up some days and wonder, “Why do I feel so damn good!”? That’s me today. I am up and it’s currently 3:50am. I don’t have to be to work until 7:45am. I just hope that I can last all day. My current job is working with children K-5. Believe me, it’s not easy. I wish I knew where they were getting the energy from, because I need some.

Oh, I know why I’m happy; because there are only 4 more weeks til the end of the school year. I know a lot of you who have been reading my blogs, have seen the ups and downs I’ve gone through with my last employer; and have gone through loosing my last job with me. I’m sure you’re probably wondering why I’m so happy about the end of the year, when just 3 months ago I was worried and stressed out about bills and loosing my job. I guess you could say I’m a person who works better with my mind, and doing something that requires more mental strength than physical. That’s why this summer is going to be the time for me to act out the things I’ve always wanted to do to further me in my business. I would have tried to do those things before; but at the time I didn’t have the funds. By the grace of God, I have acquired what I need to get the type of exposure I’ve been craving. So instead of being stressed out, I’m going to take the time needed to prepare and plan for my future business ventures. I’m so thankful that I’m finally able to have a little freedom.

As most of you should know by now, when I write a post I always want you take something from it you can use in your life. This one is no different. If you haven’t guessed what that message is; it’s one of resilience, faith, and maintaining your ambition, to live and do what you love. As I always say, nothing is impossible. All you have to do is believe and it will make itself visible.

Also, READ!!! There are so many great books out there that haven’t been touched because they aren’t as easy to consume as an episode of Love and Hip Hop or…. lets say Star. Take the time to pour into yourself. If you didn’t know, that is what you’re doing every time you pick up and read  a book cover to cover. Sometimes that’s what you need; are times when it’s just you and that amazingly written book. If you don’t know what to start with I’ll give you some suggestions.
