Screwed Up

Good Morning!!!

I know it’s been almost a week since I’ve posted. I can kind of blame the season for that. So many things to do and so little time to do them. But I hope all is well and you got what you wanted from who you wanted it from.

Now for the topic of the day; it’s something I’m sure a lot of you have probably gone through. I hope I’m wrong, but it turns out a lot of children go through a lot of unnecessary things. Just incase you might not be sure what I’m talking about; I’m talking about physical abuse, mental abuse, emotional abuse, and manipulation. The last one many people may not look at as such a bad thing; but it is. There is so much that you can get a person to do when their sense of self isn’t solid. When you’re an adult things are suppose to change; but if you never took the time to get to know yourself, how are they going too? There are so many things that happen to kids these days that screws them up before they have a chance to become adults; sexual abuse, bulling, stalking, being manipulated, the list goes on! So sometimes when a person comes out a little more screwed up then the rest of us, you can almost understand why they are the way they are. Then you have those children who grow up into adults, that were evil from the time they came out of the womb (What is that?!). That’s another topic for another time.

I wanted to talk about this because I have been through things in this life; probably not as much as some, but I have, just the same. For those of you who had someone in your life you couldn’t stand to be around but had too because you were a child, and had no choice in the matter; you know what I’m talking about. There are people I subject myself to even today because I still have that mentality, that I have no choice in who I interact with. I never noticed it until now.

Another thing I noticed I developed was, a people pleasing mentality; something I really want to loose. I can’t lie, it has made this life easier; but this isn’t the way I want to live out my life. I would rather be a strong solid person who doesn’t require validation from anyone. People who have that confidence and validation tend to live the lives they want. You know why? They don’t let other peoples actions or feelings lead the way they live their life.  That’s another reason I think my life hasn’t turned out the way I planned; I’m too empathetic when it comes to others feelings. Something I’m sure I developed while growing up.

If your story sounds anything like mine, that might be the reason for your emotional and mental turmoil. Some of us are going through things right now, and don’t realize how unnecessary our feelings are for that situation; reason being, it’s not our problem to bare.

Going through life as an introvert/ INFP/ HSP is not easy, because everything that other people feel or are going through you feel. That’s why for people like me I would never suggest working anywhere that has a high turn overrate or high volume of interacting with people; because what usually happens is their energy becomes your energy.

I have a feeling all of that is going to change this year. I’m going to work hard at making this life become the life I’ve desired; as you should. As long as you’re breathing it’s never too late to be who you want to be or live the way you desire. Everything is a matter of perception and hard work.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post.

Quest To Get Fit

Happy Holidays!!!!!

I lost the 3 to 4 lbs. I gained last week, Thank God!!! That’s one less thing I have to worry about. But the gaining of the weight really seems to happen to women more commonly; probably because we are the ones that are suppose to carry the children. So our bodies seem to always be ready and willing to carry some extra unwanted weight.

Week 2 and I’m happy I decided to document this weight loss. By keeping track of it, it helps me to stay on track. I know it’s not going to be easy to continue to lose, but I’m going to keep on trying. Like I stated in one of my last posts It Begins!!! I know we all go through times in our lives when we have wanted to lose or gain weight and we also have  times when wanting to make that happen becomes more than a thought and you realize you’re finally ready to do something about it. That time is now for me.

Getting older and realizing how the body changes for the worst when not properly cared for, makes you come to know that something has to be done if you want to have better days than you previously had, I definitely do. So this is something that has become mandatory, not just for me but for the ones I love. I’m hoping one day I can take what I’m learning about health and help others in my family and some of those that are close to me with they’re eating and activity habits.

I know better than most what happens that makes you lethargic and immobile. When you’re a child that wasn’t so much the case because you use to be able to go and play with friends for hours until the street lights came on. Now days, children don’t know anything about going outside and making up games and playing with friends, because they have or are use to playing their electronical games. The activity levels are even higher when you have siblings, because you always have someone to aggravate or get aggravated by (lol) . The point is, when we grow up all that activity stops because life starts to happen; this can be in the form of children, financial hardship, stress, you name it, it happens. That’s why I think if we focused a little less on worldly things and more on ourselves and the people around us,  life would be a lot more fulfilling. You would feel there is more of a purpose to life than working to pay bills and killing yourself to make as much money as you can, while you can.

I’m just now, starting to really understand how much importance this world has placed on money and appearances. The funny thing is, the media uses the people that are out of shape and may not look the best, to make those who do look the way we dream of looking; to make us feel like we could always be better. If you want to be better, there’s nothing wrong with that; just make sure it was your decision and not something you decided to do because of the media. Love you, regardless of what others think or feel about you. FYI, most times they don’t know you, and the other half of the time, if they do, their thoughts of you are never as bad as you think they are. But if they are, chances are that person is a hater and you have something going for you that they wish they had.

Remember, always look outside of yourself, and spread love and positivity where ever you go. I love you all and thanks for reading!!!.jpg

Something Has Got To Change

As I’m looking at CNN’s webpage I see there’ve been 22 school shootings this year. I’m sure there’s probably more now. Why do you think that is?

I think it has everything to do with the way people treat one another on a day to day bases. We treat people like we can throw them away and start over again. There are so many reasons people treat other people like crap.

A Couple Examples:

1.) They feel like crap so they treat others like it.

2.) No home training. When I say that I mean parents that let their children do whatever they want without any real consequences.

3.) Growing up playing these video games that have nudity, theft, and violence in them. Placing no value on real life.

I’m sure there are many other reasons. But I think these lead to the core of the problems we have with the gun violence. If you think about it, most kids hurt other kids because they feel unwanted, unloved, or unhappy. Back when I was growing up kids bullied you, that was a cake walk compared to now. There were a few school shootings but nothing like there is now. It almost seems like they’re trying to one up each other to get their face on the news. That’s one reason they shouldn’t put their faces on the news, because they get a high from the attention. It’s almost like they’ve won a prize or something. It’s sick, but that’s how some of these shooters think.

I’m sure the children who did these school shootings are broken in some way. They need to sit on someone’s couch and work out their problems. I’m almost positive if you were to do back round on these kids doing the shooting, you would find that most of them are the weird, anti-social ones of their schools’. For all we know life could really be hard for them. Don’t misunderstand me. In no way am I giving these killers a pass. I’m only saying there’s probably a key to unlocking the way their mind operates, and by trying to understand what they need may help lower the amount of innocent students being killed.

On another note, it’s a shame these children go to school and they can’t feel safe anymore, because truth be told the next one (God forbid) could be at their school. Kids didn’t have to worry about things like this growing up, years ago. All they had to focus on was getting good grades and having fun with their friends. These days, they have to pray they make it home alive. What kind of a world are we raising these children to be in?

I think if we made it a little harder to get a gun licenses, there would be less children shooting up schools. They wouldn’t be able to get their father or mother’s hand gun, because their parent’s wouldn’t have one to get. The reason that would be, is do to them having a school age child in the home. If you ask me gun control should have been a whole lot stricter a long time ago. I hate to say it but I have to, the only time someone seems to get any real sentencing is when the person committing the crime is of the minority.

If they judged everyone equally most of the crimes we have going on now would slow down a lot. There are white men out here now who know if they kill or rape someone of a different ethnicity all they’ll get is a slap on the wrist. By making it okay for some and not others, you’re creating an unequal playing field. One that is forever going to be skewed, and will continue to get worse and worse because there aren’t real sentences given to those who are taking lives so carelessly.
