Do what you want always.

This sounds simple enough, right?… Well, this is a simple statement but is only obtainable when you’re completely comfortable with who you are. I believe this is so hard for a lot of us because many of us have become shells of ourselves.

Too often we let the outside world influence what we do and how we move through out the world. When in reality the only person on this earth you need to answer to is yourself. Life was meant to be lived and experienced fully. But what tends to happen is we get side tracked because life is happening to us and not the other way around.

I believe that’s why I admire the people who live life to the fullest, because they don’t allow outside influences to take them off their path. Even though life throws them lemons they still find a way to make lemonade.

At the current moment I’m working on adopting this trait. I mean really, what is better than moving through the world freely, uninhibited and living life on a whim? I truly believe I reached this consciences because the first half of my life was nothing to write about. But this second half is going to be another genre.

Regardless of what others say or are going to say about my choices I have to live for me. As so many other people have to live for themselves’. Too often we allow others power over us when they did nothing worthy of obtaining that occupation.

I guess that’s another reason why I don’t care for a 9 to 5. If I had my choice I most definitely would be moving through the folds of life. Not unemployed, but earning money on my own terms.

What is a Kumiho From Lovecraft Country? Jamie Chung's Character Is a Mythical Korean FoxFor as long as I can remember I’ve always stood out even when I didn’t want too. In many ways I felt and still feel like Jamie Chung’s character in Lovecraft Country (Ji-ah). Aside from the killing and snatching souls (lol).

It’s a good thing to be different. But the world likes to make you think different isn’t good. I especially find this to be true when you aren’t living the role you were supposed to play. So many of us are unhappy because we have been taught only how to survive. Surviving helps you get through life, but it doesn’t help you LIVE IT!!

That’s where we go wrong. We’re too focused on making it through and not taking it upon ourselves to explore. It’s okay if you get it wrong. The lesson comes by applying what you’ve learned.

Don’t you want to feel ALIVE?!

I know I do. That’s one of the main reasons I read so many self help books. I know reading may help me come up with how I want to go about living. But it’s up to me to put what I’ve learned and continue to learn in motion.

Change begins at the end of your Comfort Zone

So… are you living the life of your dreams? Or Are you merely existing?

Have you ever experienced a time in life when you felt, that part of life wasn’t yours?

That’s me right now. I just wish I could go back to having the semi comfortable life I had before. Granted, I didn’t like my job. But, I was use to it and I knew it backwards and forwards. At this current time, I have a job (not exactly the one I would like); but I’m grateful for it.

I went from working 4 days 30hrs to 5 days 40 hours, making the same amount or less bi-weekly. You know that had to hit me hard. It’s like a punch to the gut, every time I walk into my current place of employment. As I stated before, I feel very out of place. I’m getting a little comfortable, but I still feel like I’m not on the right path (for me). At the current time all I can do is go through it. I just have to have faith that things will get better.

I’m sure they will. But until then, I’m going to be looking deeper into manifestation and journaling. From what I’ve started to experience journaling and manifestation work. It’s all about the type of energy you have set around them. Through learning about journaling, scripting, and manifestation; I have faith life will soon be what I’ve always wanted it to be (for me).

One thing I will never forget and something you shouldn’t also is; Life is what you make it. As I’ve heard so many times before, ” Reality is 90% how you react to it and 10% what happens to you. So go through life boldly and live life with no regrets.

Do u see me

How is it possible to be in a room with a million people, but still feel alone?

I ask myself that question daily. It feels like I’m just going through the motions instead of living life. Sometimes I feel like I’m gasping for air. Being the life of the party is definitely not me. If anything I’m trying to get the attention off of me and on to someone else. I never understood how you could want attention but not want attention in the same breathe.

I’m hoping to get better at excepting my awkwardness, but some days are harder than others. There are times that I want to burst out of my skin and show how I really feel, but don’t for fear of some kind of repercussion. I think that I missed out on a lot of things life being one of them because I’m always trying to be someone’s shadow for fear of getting noticed. How can you know your worth but be to afraid to live up to it? What are you afraid of and why? Questions like these circle around in my mind. Why? I couldn’t say. I wish that I could get beyond the questions and just live without always being fearful that someone is going to really “see” me and not like what they see.

I’m sure that many other people feel like this, but have learned how to get past the fear or they have learned to not care what others think. I’m working on getting there but its been a battle.

Pieces To A Puzzle

Trying to be something other than the norm is a struggle. It seems like the harder you try the more you are fighting to blow that cap off of everyone’s perception of normal. If there was anyway that some of us could become something more than what we are with out a struggle I believe a lot of us would be just that. But the reality is achieving something that is difficult to obtain is a gift in its self. Think of something that has been difficult to get or do and then think of how much more you appreciated it simply because you had to work to get it. That is the same thing with living life the way you want to. Doing the things you love and want to do, you have to make a decent living in order to live the way that you see fit. That means doing what you love rather than doing something purely based off of convince or income.

I said that to say, when your doing something that involves your purpose and passion it will never feel like work because believe it or not it is the reason your here living life influencing situations and people only as you know how. I have always believed that we were given this life to add to each others lives.

Have you ever felt like you were a piece to a puzzle? I have. I think that we all are pieces to a big jigsaw puzzle called ‘life’ and we are just trying to find out where we fit. By doing what your passionate about it helps you to take your natural place in life. The confusion comes when we start to let others dictate the way they want us to live our life. Parents, teachers, aunts, uncles doesn’t matter who it is they don’t have that right to dictate your life. They’ve already lived thiers and done with it what they pleased. So it is your turn to do the same. As long as it is not causing anything or anyone else harm do what’s in your heart. Be your own person, live life and feel every moment of it.

Another thing to keep in mind is there is always a way to make money from something you love doing. If your the best at it and love doing what you do there is always going to be someone that needs someone that specializes in what ever it is you've decided you love to do.
