I got fired today. Been working at that company for over 14 years and they let me go over phone numbers; something they didn’t properly train me on. That’s what they told me but I know it’s something their trying to cover up by firing me. I know I’m they fall guy. Sad part is I felt it coming. I should have trusted my intuition, but I didn’t and now I am unemployed and soon to be broke; God forbid. Already struggling. But in the next couple of days I’m going to try to turn this feeling of glum around and see it as a blessing because I was sick of that job anyway.
The funny thing is I just wrote a post about 9 to 5’s and the false sense of security they bring. Case in point: I did everything I was suppose to do and more, and I still got fired after 14yrs.
